Expert Witness

Specialist reports and evidence in connection with building disputes, landlord and tenant, valuations, boundary disputes and other litigation matters.

Party Wall Matters

Serving or receiving Notices, preparing and agreeing Schedules of Condition, drafting, agreeing and administering Party Wall Awards including checking compliance under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. We are often also involved in providing advice and mediation with regard to boundary locations and disputes

Insurance Matters

Investigation into possible subsidence damage and administering and interpreting further investigations into this, including liaising with the building Loss Adjusters and Insurers. Investigation into the full extent of damage caused by other insured events such as fire, escape of water or impact damage, agreeing scope with clients and Loss Adjusters, obtaining tenders and supervision of works on site

New Building or Extension Design

A full service can be provided from initial feasibility consideration, through outline design, for planning purposes, to detailed design for building control and construction and then obtaining tenders for the works to be undertaken.

Contract Administration

Acting as Contract Administrator on building projects such as newbuild houses, doctors surgeries and extensions to family homes. This includes providing a regular on site presence, to ensure that works inspected are in accordance with the specification, valuation of the works, making payment recomendations agreeing the Final Account with the contractor.
